When I went on my honeymoon in Aruba one of the things I was expecting most are snorkeling. I had never snorkeled in my life and I could not wait. Only seemed very funny and I had heard that the snorkeling Aruba was one of the best there was everywhere in the world.

We reserve one of the island Depalma package including both diving and adventure Wed Trek (which I recommend). After a short ferry ride to our destination of our group split into two. Half Trek was the sea and half the place for snorkeling. My wife and I were in the group went snorkeling first.

I could not wait to get in the water and see what all this talk was snorkeling Aruba. But when it distributed the material I made a big mistake dive put the life jacket optional. He said: "I know how to swim and that water is not deep anyway. "Oh, boy, it was a mistake.

You see, although I am a good swimmer, I know that diving is not as easy as it sounds. It took a little practice to get it right. And as it turns out that we had chosen a bad day for our first Aruba, diving, like a storm a few miles offshore made the water abnormally wavy. I ended up being beaten around a bit more than I was comfortable and even scratching his back on a piece of coral.

I was very disappointed with my first experience snorkeling Aruba, but I was determined to try again. Then the next day we took a walk to Baby Beach, where the water is calm as a bathtub. We spent some time snorkeling by ourselves and I was able to control quite well while enjoying the underwater scenery.

A few days later we had a great trip with a group called the Jolly Pirates led us to 3 different dive sites. The water was much calmer than it was in my first Aruba snorkeling adventure and had more fun this time. In a place called Malmok had starfish as big as a car tire hubcaps. In another, we see the remains of World War II called Antilla. The Antilla is a foot long, 400 German freighter that was sunk in 1940 and now stands at 60 feet deep water. If fear to the heights that can be a bit annoying that you see on the seabed 60 feet below you.

I recommend Jolly Pirates Aruba Snorkeling and diving in general. I know I can wait to be back.
