What is useful? They are not necessarily lies, but the beliefs that benefit us, but can not be proven. You do not even need to believe in the traditional sense. You can use as "operating principles". Calls that are above concerns that pretend to believe in what we essentially have no real proof. It is time for an example of the actual events of the day.

Useful Lie Nuber One – everything happens for reason

This morning I was at the halfway past four, the title of Canon City to climb Mount Yale. It is important to start early, to be off the summit before the storms evening moving out When I approached, I saw a handful of rocks in the road, which had fallen overnight and it was too late to prevent it.

The left front vehicle was immediately punctured by a rock and lost his breath. I retired from the street and looked around. It was completely flat. I opened the trunk and the first thing I noticed was that everything was soaked. Apparently, the trunk leaks when it rained. Then I saw that holding the bolt in place was taken oxidized. I tried to turn the nut with no luck. I took the helm after clicking it, but he did not move.

For a rest, I moved everything in the car, if I could get the spare tire under the trunk carpet. The wing-nut now in place was also rusted solidly in place, and could be beaten off. Must be a test of my ingenuity and the opportunity to practice my skills in creative problem solving, I have decided (the useful lie?). I tried to use a rock, just managing to crush a finger. This was an opportunity to dance around my irreverence and practice.

I remembered that in a diverse toolbox in the trunk had a small saw with a blade of four inches. Kicks and went into the decision had been bent metal supports, therefore decided to cut the screws. The saw broke. I have been remedied, and I've been through bolt, but when I was making, would not work. Was oxidized. I found a little oil in the trunk and son ran in the capture, then hit it with a stick. It passed, and finally I could use it.

I'm washing in the river, enjoyed the sunrise, and then began the much thicker bolt holding the spare tire in place. course was broken, which sets the saw jammed, I got more, and eventually the tire is free. He wiped the mud that has been growing. Soon I had another spare tire wheel, and I was hearing an air leak. It wenjt dish. Fortunately pump to inflate bicycle tires. Mission accomplished, no problem.

I arrived at the tire shop in Walkout seven hours. It opened eight hours. I waited an hour and then discovered that the tire was beyond hope, got a new tire put on, and … it was too late to climb the mountain. It also rained. It was a terrible day to be in a rock. Maybe even seriously injured would have been had I not had the puncture.

I think it is? No, do not even believe that everything happens for reason. I did not see you. Act as if it's the way life works is enough. Than could be discouraged, angry, or a state otherwise unproductive. Instead, I acted as if things happen for a reason.

What does this for you? Change your perspective. Makes you think what is in fact a "bad" situation. I busied myself trying to figure out how to change the tire, and avoid an increase in cold and wet. Then I came home and wrote this article, which could even bring new traffic to my website. In other words, I made a good thing a bad thing. This is useful can do for you.
